THE ROLE OF PARENTS IN EDUCATION, DEVELOPMENT AND CAREER WAS EXPLAINED IN ALTSO

ALTSO Academy’s 2023 Year 1st Term Personal Development Seminars continued with the seminar on ‘The Role of Parents in Education, Development and Career’. Prof. Dr. Figen Çok, who gave important information to the participants in the seminar, stated that children are born with a personality and said that parents in our country are very sacrificing for their children. There is no such sacrifice in the world. We are not the main actor in the child’s life. We are a support act. Parents should take this into account and should not impose their own wishes on children. Parents say, ‘My child does not walk at all’. When the psychologist asked, “Do you do sports?”, the parents said, “What am I going to do sports at this age? We ask children to do things that we do not do ourselves.”
