Mehmet Şahin president of Alanya chamber of commerce and industry attended the press conference regarding the treacherous coup attempt of 15th July organized simultaneously with Turkish union of chambers and commodity exchanges.
The conference held simultaneously in all 81 provinces was held in the conference room of the Antalya chamber of commerce and industry was attended by the presidents of all the presidents and heads of the chambers and stock markets as well as the union representatives.
A harsh response was made against the coup attempt made on 15th July 2016 by the terror organization Fetullah during the meeting.
The president of the Alanya chamber of commerce and industry Mehmet Şahin said they would never forget this attempt to perfidiously overtake the government and would not permit for it to be forgotten by others. In the joint statement made the government institutions, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and most importantly to the people for standing against this treacherous attempt. In the statement condolences were offered to those who lost their lives and gratitude was paid to those injured.
In the statement he made after the meeting the Alanya chamber of commerce and industry president Mehmet Şahin said “ the abominable attempted armed coup made by the terror organization Fetullah, which was aimed to suppress our democratic achievements secured with constitutional order of Turkey and our national solidarity, unity and independence, was averted thanks to the sagacıty of our president and commander-in-chief Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the unyielding attitude of our government and most importantly our people standing for their government and their democratic freedom. On this the first anniversary of this historical day we remember those who give their lives and who were injured stopping this coup attempt and making history. I hope that this sort of malicious attack is not experienced on our homeland again.
